Becoming a mother during COVID-19 was life-changing in so many ways. I had two little girls who meant the world to me, but in the process, I completely lost sight of me. Between the exhaustion, the weight gain, and the creeping anxiety—what some might even call depression—I realized that self-care had become an afterthought.

I felt guilty taking time for myself, but deep down, I knew I needed it. That’s when I started finding ways to make self-care feel luxurious, natural, and simple—even in just a few minutes a day. When I spoke to other mums, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many of us put ourselves last, forgetting that we deserve care too.
